Sydney Theme Parks

Sydney sightseeing

Sydney does not have many theme parks. The main theme parks in Australia are on the Gold Coast in Queensland. In this section we also include some of the more daring things to do (not really theme parks) but fun to do.

Luna Park
A very old theme park with some wooden rides and a feeling of vintage. Being on the edge of Sydney Harbour does provide good views. For those not wanting to be spinned try the Ferris Wheel. 1 Olympic Drive, Milsons point (02 9033 7676).

Bridgeclimb
Climb over the fouth longest single span bridge in the world and be rewarded with views all over Sydney Harbour. Not so cheap but a memorable experience. 3 Cumberland Street, The Rocks (02 8274 7777)

Sydney Tower Skywalk
Walk around the top of the Sydney Tower where you can jump on the glass floor 266 metres above the Sydney streets below. Excellent views of the Blue Mountains. The skytower walk is above the standard observation deck and an extra charge applies to walk around outside being strapped on! 100 Market Street, Sydney.

Wonderland
A them park at Australian Wildlife Park. 100 Wallgrove Road, Eastern Creek about 40 minutes drive from the city along the M4.
