Sydney Korean Restaurants

Sydney sightseeing

Sydney has a strong Korean culture, including many residents or travelling students who choose to study and live in Australia for a period of time. If you love Korean food, or are keen to try a new Asian-style cuisine Sydney has many quality Korean restaurants on offer.
Expect to be treated to a variety of fresh meats, simple flavours and condiments, legumes and lots of rice. The dishes are not as heavy as Chinese dishes, and also very different to traditional Japanese foods, despite the fact that Korea is so close in proximity to these countries. All Korean restaurants will serve their own styles and flavours, however the cuisine is always remarkably Korean.
Dae Jang Kum is located at 35 Goulburn Street, in Sydney’s central business district, and has a great reputation for quality food and service. Miga Restaurant is also in this area at Shop 34/1 Dixon Street in the city. This venue is great for groups, and offers various services including banquets, BBQs and Korean-style degustation. Miga Restaurant is refined and popular among local businessmen.
Also located in the city is Garden BBQ Buffet, located at 1-7 Albion Place. All of these inner-city Sydney locations are great for work functions or if you are seeking great Korean food, before you head out on a night in the city.
Korean food often features BBQ meat, and if you are on the northern beaches of Sydney, you can dine at the Korean Charcoal BBQ, which is located at Level 1, 629-631 Pittwater Road, in Dee Why.
