Sydney Indonesian Restaurant

Sydney sightseeing

The geographical proximity of Australia to Indonesia means Sydney is filled with Indonesian style restaurants that are authentic, affordable and inspiring. Many Australians love a holiday away to Bali, to enjoy the tropical climate and the fresh foods on offer, including meats and seafoods, rice, spice dishes and tropical fruits. There is however, no need to leave Sydney for Indonesian-style cuisine, as you’ll find some amazing restaurants within the local area.
If you love satay, consider Teras Bali at Shop 2, Pier 6-7, 17 Hickson Road in Walsh Bay. This restaurant has established a great reputation with the locals and you can expect tasty food, Indonesian flavours and fresh produce.
Padi is another Indonesian offering which is conveniently located at 76 Devonshire St, Surry Hills. You can easily find an affordable meal here, and the location is within walking distance from Sydney Central Station. This inner-city suburb has grown in popularity over the years, and now offers some of the more hip and progressive dining venues within the city. You’ll also find it convenient if you’re seeking a nearby pub, or are planning on heading into the city for a night out afterwards.
In Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, you can find Bali Stick Indonesian Restaurant. Anzac Parade is filled with a selection of Asian-style restaurants and in Kensington you can treat yourself to Indonesian dishes, located at 84 Anzac Parade, Kensington. Getting here is easy. You may find parking within the residential side-streets, however buses run conveniently along Anzac Parade to and from the city at most hours of the day.
