The Nan Tien Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere. It is located to the south of Wollongong, a separate industrial city which has with good transport connections to the city of Sydney.
Many school, community and religious study groups visit the Nan Tien Temple for the wealth of information and resources it has on offer. Its regular events include art and craft classes, meditation workshops, spiritual retreats and information sessions about Buddha Dharma and the beliefs and practises of Buddhism.
