If you are looking for a safe swimming environment in beautiful surrounds then head down to Clovelly beach. A very unusual
Sydney beach, Clovelly's waterfront is the occurrence of two rock cliffs which allow a small and narrow passage of water to remain protected, almost like an ocean swimming pool. This has been fortified by two concrete platforms and is patrolled during summer months. The platforms and access steps make water access easy, so the beach is popular for those with small children along with the elderly. Clovelly Beach is also great for snorkelling. Many people come here for their first attempt at the pastime.

Do not be surprised to see plenty of people in the water fitted out with snorkel masks and flippers. Address: 272 Clovelly Road, Clovelly NSW 2031
