The City Recital Hall was originally established for chamber and orchestral performances. The venue is of a world standard for musical performances, including those which don't fit into the styles the venue was originally created for.
The Sydney Festival
frequently uses this space for more contemporary musical performances, and the mix of different styles - from historical, to traditional, to culturally diverse - makes this venue a wonderful example of Sydney's eclectic and progressive approach to music and other art forms.
The City Recital Hall is located in Angel Place which runs between George and Pitt Streets. It can be reached via bus
and monorail. Parking in the city is available, however it is expensive. Address: 2-12 Angel Place, Sydney, NSW, 2000.
