Immersed in the Oxford Street shopping precinct, Paddington Market is a long standing Sydney institution. These open air markets have been established for over 38 years in the Paddington Uniting Church Hall and Paddington Public School grounds.
The markets are part of the Parish Mission in Paddington and the revenue from stall rentals goes directly into feeding between 65-70 people every day. The money raised also helps meet basic living standards for these people, including food, clothing and shelter. Paddington Market is the only not-for-profit market in Sydney and attracts massive crowds from locally, interstate and overseas.
Paddington Uniting Church Grounds - If you are driving to Paddington – park in Centennial Park, and walk down Oxford St. Turn left near the Cafe in the Park and head up to Oxford St Gate, they have a few hours free parking!
